Bone. The great king gifted this bone to his smith who fashioned it into
a hammer. With that hammer the smith was able to temper magic. With
great elation the smith set to forging the most perfect thing, in honor
of his king. As a gift for him he made this sword, a sword he named...

"Pangea" by Shanna Duncan
Artist. Illustrator. Designer. Shanna Duncan wields
oil, acrylic, watercolour, ink, charcoal, mixed media, and digital media
like a boss. Her style combines a "gritty symbolism with a macabre
sense of humor infused with a whimsical air" (SD), and you might
recognise her designs from clients such as Fender Guitars,
Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast, Skullcandy, National Geographic, and more!
"Pangea" will her first solo fine art exhibit in Seattle, so kick it
down to the Georgetown Liquor Co during the 2nd Saturday Georgetown Art
Attack, and check it out!

"Pain: An Artistic Experience" at A/NT Gallery
Guest curators: Julie Baroh of Krab Jab Studio, Tracy Cilona of Twilight Gallery, Braden Duncan of the Seattle Arts Coalition, and Aubry Kae Andersen of A/NT Gallery.
Pain is a shared by all humanity, but everyone
experiences pain very differently. For some, their daily lives involve
the management of chronic pain. For others, their pain is emotional:
anxiety, depression, and addiction.
Pain is subjective, so we've invited professional artists to create works about the subject of pain,
as they've experienced it. This will be a very personal and
enlightening show, featuring the works of over 30 local and
international artists. The public is welcome to attend.
Exhibit runs: July 30 - August 31, 2014
